How do I make park and restaurant reservations?+
The hotel’s reservation wish list explains which parks and dining experiences require reservations and lets you record your preferred dates and times. Review it to plan your stay, then confirm your requests with the hotel concierge. Requests are subject to availability; completing the wish list does not confirm a booking. Majenta can help if you’re unsure how to arrange requests before arrival.
What can we explore at Hotel Xcaret México?+

Where can I find spa treatments and services?+
The Muluk Spa menu lists treatments, beauty services, and reservation contact details. Spa services cost extra, and appointments are subject to availability. Confirm current prices when reserving.

Staying in the wedding room block keeps you close to the celebrations, our other guests and the resort experiences included with your stay. Book your stay in our room block →
Can I stay somewhere else?+
You can, but we strongly encourage everyone to stay with us at Hotel Xcaret México. Guests staying elsewhere will need to manage their own transportation and may be subject to hotel wedding-pass or event-access fees. In short: possible, but with a little more logistics and a little more FOMO.
Which airport should I fly into?+
Fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN). Final transfer instructions and arrival guidance will be shared well before the wedding.
Do Indian citizens need a Mexican visa?+
Generally, yes. However, travelers may be exempt if they hold a valid, multiple-entry and previously used visa for the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom or a Schengen country, or certain qualifying permanent-residence documents. Requirements can change, so please confirm your eligibility on the Embassy of Mexico in India website ↗.

Any shorter-stay arrangement is subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance. Contact Majenta
Can I book outside of our travel concierge’s wedding link?+
To join our wedding room block, reserve through Majenta using our wedding booking link or a reservation she arranges directly. If she has already arranged your room, contact her before making another booking. Reservations made independently with the hotel or another provider are outside this booking process. Contact Majenta
Can I choose a king bed or two double beds?+
You’ll be able to select your bed preference at checkout. The hotel will do its best to accommodate your request, but bed type is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Can three adults share a room?+
TravelJoy lets you select three adults sharing a room and view the reservation total before payment. For children or a larger party, contact Majenta before booking so she can confirm suitable occupancy and pricing. Contact Majenta
Would you like help connecting with another guest to share a room?+
Let us know on your RSVP. We’re happy to introduce interested guests, and you can decide together whether to book after we make an introduction.
Can I request connecting or nearby rooms?+
Yes. Add the request when booking and tell our travel concierge which reservation you would like to be near. The hotel will do its best, but placement remains subject to availability.
Can I upgrade my room?+
The current wedding package is for a Suite River View. For a different room category, contact Majenta before booking so she can confirm availability and pricing. Contact Majenta
Can I arrive early or stay longer?+

Are children welcome, and what are their room rates?+
Yes, Hotel Xcaret México is family-friendly. In our Suite River wedding room block, children ages 0–5 stay free; ages 6–17 are $267 USD per child, per night ($801 for three nights), sharing a room with parents or guardians. Booking processing fees are additional. Contact Majenta to confirm your family’s room occupancy and total.
Wedding events are for the guests named on your invitation. If you’re unsure whether your children are included, please check with Alex or Saahas before booking.
Are accessible rooms available?+
Accessibility needs are handled individually. Contact Majenta before booking so she can review your needs with the hotel before a reservation is made. Contact Majenta
Is airport transportation included?+
Yes! Your stay includes round-trip airport transportation between Cancún International Airport (CUN) and Hotel Xcaret México, so there’s no separate airport transfer to pay for. Settle into Xcaret’s shared shuttle and let your vacation begin. Shuttles currently run every 30 minutes from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and hourly outside those hours. We’ll send arrival instructions, flight-detail guidance and the confirmed schedule closer to the wedding.
How far is the resort from the airport?+
Plan for about an hour on the road from Cancún International Airport (CUN) to Hotel Xcaret México, depending on traffic. Allow extra time for immigration, baggage collection and waiting for your transfer.
What travel documents should I bring?+
Bring a valid passport, your return itinerary, hotel confirmation and any visa or residence document required for your nationality. Entry decisions are made by Mexican immigration authorities.
Do U.S. citizens need a Mexican visa?+
U.S. citizens generally do not need a visa for a short tourist visit, but must travel with a valid passport and may be asked for lodging and return-travel information. Please verify current requirements before departure.
Is transportation to the parks included?+
Shared transportation to participating Grupo Xcaret parks is included under the hotel’s applicable program. Routes, schedules and reservation requirements vary by experience.
Should I purchase travel insurance?+
We strongly recommend travel insurance for your stay and flights, especially for coverage related to cancellations, delays or medical needs. Please review the policy terms carefully and choose the coverage that feels right for you.
Can I travel with another country’s visa?+
A qualifying visa must be valid, multiple-entry and previously used. The current exemption covers visas issued by the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom and Schengen countries. Confirm the latest rules with the Mexican Embassy in India ↗.
Does permanent residence in another country qualify?+
Certain permanent residents of the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, Schengen countries and Pacific Alliance countries may travel without a separate Mexican visa. Temporary status does not necessarily qualify, so check the official rules for your document on the Mexican Embassy in India’s visa page.
What if I do not qualify for an exemption?+
You will generally need to apply for a Mexican visitor visa through the appropriate Mexican embassy or consulate. Begin early because appointment availability and processing requirements can change. See the official visa requirements and application guidance.
Can you provide wedding and hotel documentation?+
Yes. Once reservations and invitation details are finalized, we can provide the wedding invitation and available hotel confirmation documents for your application. These support the purpose of travel but do not guarantee visa approval. Check the Mexican Embassy’s document requirements before preparing your application.
When should I begin checking visa requirements?+
Start checking your eligibility and gathering documents now. Aim to have your application documents ready by May 2027, around six months before the wedding. Confirm the earliest date you can apply, appointment availability and visa validity with the Mexican Embassy or the consulate handling your application.
Please plan early: the room-booking deadline is December 15, 2026, while final payment is due June 22, 2027. Contact Majenta before booking if a visa is pending so she can explain the applicable reservation and cancellation terms; visa approval and deadline extensions cannot be guaranteed.
Should travelers from India consider a U.S. visa?+
A valid U.S. visa can make flight planning easier by opening itineraries that connect through the United States. Indian passport holders generally need appropriate U.S. authorization even when only transiting, so please review the official U.S. transit guidance ↗ before booking. Because appointments and processing can take time, we recommend beginning the application process now.
How should travelers from India plan their flights?+
If you do not have a valid U.S. visa or other required U.S. authorization, do not book a route that transits through the United States. Choose an itinerary to Mexico through a country whose transit requirements you meet, and verify every connection before purchasing. Our travel concierge can also provide optional airfare assistance on request for a $50 fee per flight reservation.
Can I pay in full?+
Yes. At checkout, you may pay your room balance in full or choose TravelJoy’s automatic monthly-payment option. Processing fees are shown before you complete payment. Book your stay in our room block →
Are there credit-card processing fees?+
Yes. TravelJoy displays the processing fee at checkout before you complete payment. Fees are included in the deposit and monthly payment estimates shown on this website, but excluded from the room totals. The deposit itself counts toward your room balance; processing fees are separate from the room cost.
What happens if I need to cancel?+
Review the cancellation terms in TravelJoy before you complete payment, especially before purchasing flights. For questions about a specific reservation, contact Majenta before booking. Contact Majenta
What is happening Friday?+
We’ll begin with a welcome dinner at Caleta Fuego from 6:00–10:00 PM. Think warm, tropical and celebratory. The dress code is Indian or beach formal; Indian attire is welcome, not required. The dinner takes place on the sand.
What is happening Saturday?+
The evening moves from cocktails at Stone Fountain to our Mayan ceremony at El Caracol, followed by dinner, reception and dancing at La Isla. Events are currently planned from approximately 6:30 PM–1:00 AM.
What is a Mayan ceremony?+
It is a symbolic ceremony inspired by Maya traditions and led with reverence for the natural setting. It will be personal, meaningful and a little different from a traditional Western wedding ceremony.
How will we move between Saturday’s venues?+
Stone Fountain, El Caracol and La Isla are located close to one another within Xcaret Park. Guests will be guided between each setting on foot, and we will share final timing, routing and accessibility arrangements closer to the wedding.
What is happening Sunday?+
Sunday begins with poolside brunch at Mercado from 11:30 AM–2:30 PM, followed by an optional river float. Meet at 6:30 PM at the Gran Tlachco theater entrance in Xcaret Park for México Espectacular, currently scheduled for 7:00 PM. The park schedule is subject to change. All times are local. The day is intentionally relaxed.
Do I need to attend everything?+
No. We would love to see you throughout the weekend, but Sunday’s activities are designed to be flexible. Join what feels right and leave room for a nap if Saturday’s dance floor wins.
What should I wear?+
Friday is Indian or beach formal. Saturday is formal or black-tie optional. Sunday is beach or resort casual. Our full visual guide is available on What to Wear →.
What is the weather like in Cancún in November?+
November is typically warm and humid, with average daytime highs around 29°C (84°F) and overnight lows around 21°C (69°F). Rain showers are still possible. Pack breathable clothing, sunscreen and a light layer for evenings or air-conditioned spaces, plus a compact umbrella. Check the forecast closer to the wedding for the latest conditions.
What should I pack for resort days?+
Pack comfortable walking shoes: Xcaret is a sprawling resort with plenty to explore, and getting between restaurants, pools and activities means plenty of steps. Your step counter is coming on this vacation, too. Bring shoes you’ve already broken in, plus sunscreen, swimwear and water shoes for river adventures. Save your dancing shoes for the dance floor!
Can I bring a plus-one or my children?+
Please follow the names listed on your invitation. If you are unsure who is included, reach out before booking and we’ll clarify.
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?+
Please include allergies and dietary needs with your RSVP. We will share them with the hotel and event teams, although specific accommodations remain subject to venue capabilities.
How do I respond for my household or change my RSVP?+
You may submit together for invited guests with the same attendance response. If some guests accept and others decline, submit separately for each group. To change a response already submitted, contact the couple directly rather than submitting again.
Who should I contact about the wedding or my invitation?+
For invitation details, RSVP changes or roommate introductions, contact the couple directly, or reply to your invitation message. For room reservations, payments and travel arrangements, contact Majenta.
We couldn’t find that one. Try a broader word, or send us a message and we’ll help. Contact Majenta for travel or contact the couple directly for wedding questions.
